In this project we made a type face anatomy. we learned hoe to make lines and text in adobe illustrator. we used serif as our font because we have been learning about type faces and the different parts of different fonts. I was pretty confident about this project now that I knew the basics of adobe illustrator. It was a lot easier and took half the time to put it all together the most time consuming part was probably looking up the different parts of the fonts. We described the different parts of serif.

For this assignment we had to photoshop a regular picture of a man and add landscape images to his body and clothing. We could either use pictures on the server that the teachers had provided for us. Or we could make our own idea. I decided to make a beach themed man. I learned how to use layer masks and how to make the picture blend with the other layer. I would have chosen a different idea if I could do it over again because it was a lot harder to make the beach theme then I thought it would be. I would still keep the extra parts around the scene I thought it made the project more fun and lively. I will definitely combine pictures more because it's a easy way to use more than one image without having to take up so much space. I really liked this project and thought it was a good experience and learning opportunity.

Color Wheel

Description My project was to make a color wheel. We used adobe illustrator to make our color wheel. We used circles for the primary colors. Squares for the secondary colors. And triangles for the tertiary. We inserted triangles to connect the primary and secondary colors. Then we made a circle to connect all the color. What I learned I learned how to insert text into adobe illustrator.  I also learned that you do not draw anything. in graphic design you use shapes that are prepaid to make your artwork. I also learned that there are certain colors that go with certain things. I also did not realize that every color has a spot on the color wheel. what I'm going to improve  I did well for my first time. I needed to ask for help a couple times. Next time I would Add more flare because I only did the bare minimum. I would also make the triangle upside down to a dotted line. I would change the font of my text.

junior year

This year I learned how to make patterns using illustrator. It was a lot simpler then I thought and was really fun to do. It allowed me to make a pattern with one part rather than having to repeat it over and over manually. At first some of my patterns whereof slightly but they weren't hard to fix or redo. Collaboration helped a lot to be able to bounce ideas off others in the class and see what they're doing. They also helped a lot if you got stuck or didn't know what to do.Communication was a big part of the project it helped toward with my teacher to improve things. It also helped me to know deadlines and requirements.Project Management is is a skill I need to work on I get things mixed up and sometimes don't get things done when I should.  My greatest strength would probably be my creativity. My greatest weakness would be that I get off task easily. Im thinking of making my own wrapping paper with my new skill. I would change my candy pattern and make it more aroun...
