bouncing balls



For this project we had to make a ball bounce in different ways. The way that we did this was using different layers to make the ball appear to bounce. I made many different layers, each thing got its own layer.  I learned that there is a lot more to animation than I originally thought. I used to think that artists would just draw lots of pictures. I would use more frames and use more detail. I would do this so that the animation would flow smother and so that it would be more interesting. I would use colors to make contrast because interests people. I will use lots of frames at the beginning because it is a lot harder to add frames after you already have frames.I really like animation and want to learn how to make cooler things.

For this assignment we had to photoshop a regular picture of a man and add landscape images to his body and clothing. We could either use pictures on the server that the teachers had provided for us. Or we could make our own idea. I decided to make a beach themed man. I learned how to use layer masks and how to make the picture blend with the other layer. I would have chosen a different idea if I could do it over again because it was a lot harder to make the beach theme then I thought it would be. I would still keep the extra parts around the scene I thought it made the project more fun and lively. I will definitely combine pictures more because it's a easy way to use more than one image without having to take up so much space. I really liked this project and thought it was a good experience and learning opportunity.

This project was to make a infographic about any topic we chose. I chose to do my infographic on co2 emotions from car vs hybrids. This project took over 2 weeks to complete. It took me a while to figure out what design I would use because its hard to think of a design using multiple cars and featuring text.  I learned how to use the pen tool. I added a tree because I thought it would liven up the atmosphere and put something in the background. For this project we had to use illustrator to make a raccoon. This project took around a week. One challenge I faced were the eyes. I didn't know whether to make them bigger or smaller.  Some people told me I needed bigger ears. For this project we had to make a panorama of different pictures that we took. This project took about a week including getting the pictures. Quarter four project The project was to make product and Advertise that project with a website, Commercial, And logo. The project took all quarter to make. a challenge we faced were absences. I learned how to add graphic design to a picture and video. I liked working on this project during 4th quarter it gave everyone a chance to use there ideas and go through everything again. Some things I accomplished this quarter were acting in the video, Making a banner for the website, And making the charger and MINI Coach model. I stayed productive by helping my team and giving them feedback and ideas. Outside of class I watch videos to learn easier faster ways to do things in the programs. I am good at giving feedback and ideas. I am good at choosing color schemes and making sure they fit and don't get to vibrant and lose the actual product/logo.
